Greg grew up in Pasadena, California, and graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Policy and Urban Planning. He first visited Costa Rica in July of 2006 and decided to stay when he discovered the remarkable potential and amount of opportunities in this gorgeous, peaceful country of only 4 million people. In his free time, Greg enjoys surfing the Guanacaste waves, whitewater rafting, hiking Volcanoes and most of all traveling. During his extensive travels, Greg has visited 6 of 7 continents including a six-week trek throughout the Australian Outback living with Aboriginal families and a failed attempt to become a Maasai Warrior while on safari in Kenya and Tanzania.
